Promise of more pictures

I took a few cute picture last week (how could they not be cute when they are pictures of my kids), and I will try to get them loaded. I need Jim to show me how to get them from the camera to the computer and then from the computer to my blogg. Well I'm being paged...

Elections

There has been a lot of talk about electing a new president and all that jazz and I have been trying to do my part in learning about the different candidates. At the dinner table I was telling the girls about being president and if they would like to be a president. So we had our own debate.

Q: Why should I vote for you?
A: (Hannah) Because I have BIG muscles
Q: What about all of the hugry people who don't have food
A: (Natalie) Well, Daddy could go to work and then give them some money
Q: What if bad guys took the money?
A: (Natalie) We should take the money from the bad guys and give it to the people.

Well, they have my vote.

Christmas

We went to NM for Christmas and had a great time. Here are a few pictures of the things we did there. It was great to be with family. Though the drive was very long, the kids traveled very well and there were only a few spots on the road that got scary. Thanks to Jim's family and my family for making this season special. Natalie, Hannah and Andrew feel very loved and spoiled with all the new gifts and cards. For decorations I had put the Christmas cards up on our half wall, but Natalie liked them so much she took them and hid them under her pillow. Also Great Grandma Hohman gave Andrew a barking puppet dog that has to spend a lot of time in "time out" because it is a favorite and the kids have a hard time sharing. The slippers Natalie and Hannah received are glued to their feet at day and lay by there beds at night. We have also been really wild and played a game of memory since we have been home and excited about all the crafts we can do.

Just as a side note, though it was later then I had hoped I did get out my Christmas cards and a family photo. So I did something right!
